The dumpster is PACKED full of lathe, plaster, trash and carpet. Phew!

Here is the parlour again ...

... and the stairs ...

... looking up the stairs ...

... the kitchen (before it was mopped up) ...

... the back deck as it looks currently. The toilet and sink will be freecycled, and we're going to sell the clawfoot tub!

Now, on to something cool that Michael found encased in plaster in the walls. This toy cannon was patented in April 1895! We think some little boy accidentally dropped this cannon in the wall while the house was being built. I wonder if the toy belonged one of the sons of the first owner / builder of the house. I wonder if the boy was like Minnie and wailed after he couldn't find it. After all of these years, Michael found it amazingly in one piece. It's got a pretty good weight on it. We're definitely going to display it when we are done. Here is a picture of it by Minnie's foot. :O)

Michael also found a piece of wood that had some pencil drawings of a boat on it as well. It's not as neat as the cannon, but still neat to look at.
Roger arrives tomorrow, and the project continues!
