Day 13: Temporary Insulation

It is Day 13, and it's starting to get a wee bit chilly in the house. I can tolerate the cold fairly well, but yesterday I was shivering non-stop after about 4.30 PM. I was chatting with the guy who bought our first floor bathtub, but I could not control the chattering of my teeth. So, it's time to insulate the house as well as we can until we get the electrical complete.

For the temporary insulation, we have opted to use one and a half inch hard styrofoam and plastic tarp for the stairwell and the parlour ceiling. See the results below. :O)

Here is the styrofoam before we put up in the stairwell.

... and I thought you guys would like to see how the kitchen current looks. Some of you might recognise it as our old first floor bathroom. LOL :O)
