1. Kitchen: We have 90% finalised our kitchen design plan. The most important issues we had were regarding the appliances. Michael and I have agreed on the stove and refrigerator solution which should finalise our kitchen design. We also agreed that we'll need to do the kitchen in phases. The first phase will be the "cooking area."
2. Flooring: We have agreed on the hardwood flooring that will be throughout the first floor. This must be done before we can work on the kitchen project.
3. Home Theatre / Wiring: We purchased the ZON home audio system a couple weeks ago. Michael has spent the past week steadily installing the system in three of the rooms on the first floor. We also purchased the ONKYO DS-A2 iPod deck that we have run through the ZON.

Michael is looking at the POLK speaker in our parlour and trying to get the wires all sorted out.

There was no insulation in the parlour for over 100 years.
But, there is now one wall that is fully insulated...
Perhaps, it's a bit too extreme?
