Believe it or not, we are doing work on the house. Here's what we've been doing:
1. Kitchen: We have been working with a kitchen designer to come up with the design for our kitchen. We looked at various appliances to get an idea of price and see how they looked in person.
2. Flooring: We have looked at decorative carpeting for the upstairs rooms and hallway. This obviously is not a high priority, but it was good to get an idea of the cost and brands that made these. However, we need to do something on the first floor before we can implement the kitchen design.
3. Home Theatre / Wiring: We are exploring our different options on home theatre sound systems and wiring components. There is SO MUCH information out there that it seems a bit overwhelming. So, we're taking our time here. Also, once our kitchen design is complete, we will complete the wiring.
